MY client and design pROCESS
I’m thrilled at the potential opportunity to collaborate with you on your project. Working with me means diving into a creative journey where your vision takes centre stage. Here’s what you can expect from the process.
1. DISCOVERY
After I've received an enquiry from you through my booking form, I will contact you to book in a Discovery Call if the project deems fit. This is the first step in setting the stage for our creative journey! This is where we hop on a call and meet to explore, understand, and align visions for the project. I'll ask thoughtful questions to uncover specific details about what you're looking to get out of this project. Just a friendly chat at the end of the day!
After this call, I will send over a project proposal outlining all the deliverables and scope of work agreed upon during the call. When the Proposal is agreed upon, I will send you a Deposit Invoice and, once settled, we're ready to go!
2. Strategy & design Direction
Depending on the Package tailored for your business, the next stage may consist of a Strategy Call where we will deep dive into developing your brand’s strategy. After this, I will go into researching design styles that best fit the strategy for the business. I will create 2/3 Style Direction Moodboards for you to choose from, so we know right from the start which direction we're going in, in terms of Typography, Palette, and layout styles, basically the general feel of the brand. You will then decide which style direction you prefer, and I'll deep dive into the creation stage.
3. Design & development
I start by immersing myself in the project, drawing on the information taken from the Brand Strategy and Discovery Call Questionnaire. I brainstorm concepts, sketch ideas, and explore different design directions that align with your objectives and preferences.
I experiment with color schemes, typography, imagery, and layout compositions, continuously iterating to ensure the design resonates with your brand strategy and goals.
4. Presentation & AMENDMENTS
The culmination of the creation stage involves presenting the identity concept design to you over a call or a presentation deck via email. I'll prepare a comprehensive brand presentation showcasing the evolution of the design and highlighting the thought process behind each decision. This presentation serves as an opportunity to discuss the concept presented, address any feedback, and ensure your satisfaction before delivering the finalized design assets. Within my packages, I offer 2 rounds of revisions to nail the concept, if a new concept needs to be explored, this is also offered.
5. FINAL FEEDBACK & OFFBOARDING
After receiving any feedback from showcasing call, I will address these revisions, fine tweaking and tuning to your preferences. Once signed off and the final 50% invoice is settled, I will create your comprehensive brand guidelines document and start to package up all the final assets in every file format you'll ever need for both web and print. Here I ask for your final feedback on the design journey and our work together.
