A BIT ABOUT ME:

I'm Abu-Bakr, an award-winning brand designer and creative strategist rooted in East London. I work with food, beauty, and fashion brands that prioritise growth, clarity, and genuine connections.

For me, design isn't just about making things look pretty; it's about helping founders share their unique stories with purpose and meaning. I believe that branding should reflect your ideas, values, and ambitions, transforming them into a visual identity that truly supports your business. My process starts with strategy, and I bring that to life through thoughtful design, straightforward storytelling, and practical systems that enable brands to thrive.

I aim to maintain a collaborative and transparent approach, focusing on real-world results. I love to roll up my sleeves and dive deep into understanding your brand from the inside out. My goal is to create identities that are honest, functional, and built to last.

What I do:

I design bold, thoughtful brand identities that help businesses in the UK and globally tell clear, memorable stories and connect with their audiences. I research each client's market and values, craft visual systems, logos, typography, colour, and supporting graphics, as well as creating practical brand guidelines to ensure consistency across touchpoints.

My work turns fuzzy positioning into a coherent, recognisable presence that stands out in crowded markets, builds trust with customers, and makes it easier for teams to communicate the brand confidently and consistently

HOW I WORK:

Working with me is more than just ticking off a to-do list - it’s a creative journey. Every brand I work on is personal, and I treat it that way. I take the time to truly understand your world, your goals, and what your audience actually cares about. Because when the design is built on real understanding, the results hit differently.

From strategy to sketches, typography choices to mockup applications, I put serious thought into every step. Whether it's diving into keyword mapping, exploring logo variations, or designing a brand identity that feels alive across real-world touchpoints, I approach it all with purpose and a bit of obsession.

WhY WORK WITH ME?

I’m not here to be just another freelance brand designer in your inbox. I see myself as a creative partner; someone who’s just as invested in your vision as you are. I’ll sit with the messy ideas, ask the right questions, and help shape the brand you’ve been imagining in your head but didn’t know how to bring to life yet.

This is a space where collaboration matters, where storytelling leads the design, and where we make work that’s not just visually strong,, but emotionally grounded. Because the best kind of design doesn’t just look good. It feels right.
